Android Auto: The iLX-W690D is compatible with Android Auto and can be used with Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; also an Android™ phone with version 5.0 “Lollipop” or higher and the Android Auto app is required). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say “OK Google” or select the microphone button. With Google Assistant in Android Auto, you can play your favourite music, get directions to your destination, interact with smart home devices, and reply to text messages – all in hands-free mode. Apple CarPlay: Works with Apple CarPlay allows iPhone users to make and answer calls, read text messages, play music, and get directions so they can always focus on the road.
